McGuire drops Stefan with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Stefan looks back up at him and smiles so McGuire waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

McGuire ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Stefan moves away.

Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Stefan.
McGuire misses with a looping right.

and Stefan takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Stefan is still on wobbly legs! Can McGuire finish him?
McGuire connects with a body shot that sends Stefan's belly button to the back.
Stefan seems to have recovered his senses.
McGuire throws a lazy right hand but Stefan sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Stefan! But no joy.

Stefan pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces McGuire back to the cage. Stefan follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

and McGuire counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
McGuire bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Stefan's head backwards.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Bryer McGuire will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
