The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lban lands with a hook. Omarov tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
We've been told by Lban's head coaches at Star Studded Beef that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Omarov changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Lban tries to avoid it but Omarov manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Lban to the ground. Lban escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

letting Lban counter with a right hand.

and Lban counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Omarov thinking.
Garaile Lban has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Magomedsaid Omarov.

and Lban makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Magomedsaid Omarov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
