Slashensmash has hold of Tregubs's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Tregubs manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Weinstein changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Reynolds looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Reynolds is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Weinstein asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Weinstein looks up at the clock and then as Reynolds takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Weinstein smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Reynolds pushes Weinstein away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Weinstein gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Weinstein is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Reynolds has escaped the position, nice work there.

Reynolds really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Weinstein. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Rocket lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Balic at a distance.
That kick from Rocket tenderised Balic's leg. Balic is trying to keep his angry face on.
Rocket wants to clinch.
Rocket throws a lazy head kick
and Balic makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Rocket really felt that one!
Rocket darts in looking for a takedown but Balic gets double underhooks and turns Rocket into the cage.
Balic shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Rocket sprawls well. Rocket wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Balic gets slowly back to his feet.

Garrett swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Hale.

Hale tries to counter with a clinch but Garrett shakes him off and moves away.

Naikkorine has chosen Mexico - The Dead Daisies as his entrance music. Aydarbek Kamchybekov had real problems making weight for this fight. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson loads up on a big right hand but Eye slips the punch.
Johnson misses with a takedown

and Eye counters with a left and a right that hurts Johnson! He wobbles and falls to the floor - he's in big trouble! Eye jumps into full mount!
Eye controlling the pace for now.
Johnson tries to hold on but Eye postures up.
Eye takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

It looks like Jeff Johnson has been cut.
Johnson shoots in for a takedown but Eye shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
It looked like Eye was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Johnson.

Eye throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Johnson.
Johnson throws a sloppy head kick and Eye moves out of range easily.
Eye cracks Johnson on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Johnson falls backwards against the cage. Eye follows up with more strikes that drop Johnson to his knees. Eye keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Johnson! This one is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vespuci will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Vespuci closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Boy manages to work his way to half guard, despite Vespuci's best efforts.
Vespuci looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Boy makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Boy.
Vespuci is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Vespuci will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Boy manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Vespuci manages to get himself to full guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Boy passes Vespuci's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

Vespuci is not content to let Boy control the position.

Boy wants to free his trapped foot but Vespuci is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Vespuci is looking to control Boy's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Vespuci avoid being mounted?

Boy is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Vespuci tries to roll over but Boy keeps him under control.

Boy uses his free foot to push down on Vespuci's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Vespuci.
Vespuci is squirming around, avoiding Boy's attempts to control the action.
Boy might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Vespuci haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Vespuci keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

Boy is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Vespuci is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Vespuci flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Boy anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Vespuci and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Boy slips an arm under Vespuci chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Boy has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Boy is squeezing on Vespuci like an anaconda would it's prey. Vespuci fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
