The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mendes fails with an attempt to clinch.
Mendes is looking to clinch but Kobbler is avoiding it.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Kobbler is defended easily by Mendes.
Kobbler shoots in and drives through. Mendes sprawls well.
Mendes darts in looking for a takedown but Kobbler gets double underhooks and turns Mendes into the cage.
A quick step to the side and Kobbler tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.

Kobbler moves into range and clinches up with Mendes.

Leo Nani shoots in for a double leg but Rothstein sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Leo Nani has his foot on Rothstein's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Rothstein works his way back into a safe position though.

Leo Nani working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Rothstein doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Rothstein manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Rothstein really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Leo Nani. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Oh Tuhura is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Dilbrandt sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through Tuhura's defenses. It connects perfectly with Tuhura's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!
