Lyons is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Tasdemir wants to clinch up but Lyons keeps it at a distance.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Lyons.

Lyons is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Tasdemir can't fight it off and eventually Lyons manages to take the fight to the floor. Tasdemir looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Lyons is trying to drag Tasdemir to the mat but Tasdemir just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Lyons has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Tasdemir is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Tasdemir lands an uppercut.

Lyons is rocked!
Tasdemir misses with a short punch on the inside.
Tasdemir dips a shoulder and cracks Lyons with a mighty uppercut! Lyons falls back against the cage and Tasdemir unloads with a barrage of strikes! Lyons is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Tasdemir screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!

Mehmed Tasdemir decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
