The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mayhem closes the distance looking to clinch
and The Barbarian counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
The Barbarian lands with a shot to the body.
The Barbarian throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Mayhem on the side of the head.
Mayhem is looking to clinch.
The Barbarian is looking to counter punch.
The Barbarian throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Mayhem's hands are dropping dangerously low here and The Barbarian connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Mayhem scrambles back to his feet.
Mayhem drops his hands momentarily and The Barbarian takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Mayhem tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. The Barbarian manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
The Barbarian lands a big uppercut and Mayhem crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Mayhem looks OK. The Barbarian waves Mayhem back to his feet!

Bryan Mayhem seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
