Juan Fonseca seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Fonseca has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Fonseca uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Kennedy.

Kennedy cracks Fonseca with a perfect right hand that drops him to the mat! Fonseca is sitting up but I can't see if he's OK from my position. The referee's count has reached 5,6,7 and Fonseca is still not up. Can he make it? 8,9,10! He's out! Fonseca could not beat the count!

Ford scores a flash knockdown with a right hook that drops Cooper to his hands and knees! The ref pushes Ford away as he looks to land an illegal blow. Cooper got an extra few seconds to recover there, which could have made all the differences as he stumbles back to his feet. The referee looks into his eyes and decides to allow the bout to continue. Can he survive?!

The fight stays on the outside here - Cooper looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Coming up we have a featherweight kickboxing rules bout between Lambert George (ranked 16588 p4p, 400 weight class) and Name Less (ranked 3099 p4p, 298 weight class). George comes to the ring accompanied by Ca fait mal. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!
