Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jackson Bishop (ranked 1439 p4p, 161 weight class) and Henson Benderson (ranked 2284 p4p, 228 weight class). Bishop comes into the arena with Ghetts - Who's Got a Problem? blaring out of the sound system. Benderson comes into a darkened arena with his song building. The Time is Now kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Okah comes to the cage accompanied by Rock Stone. Jari Bull told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Frankels works Kerr's body with a nice hook.
Kerr looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
A left lands for Kerr.
Frankels moves in looking to clinch but Kerr pushes him off.
A counter left hand to the body from Kerr misses its target.
Kerr misses with a hook. Frankels ducked under it nicely.
Kerr throws a lazy right hand but Frankels sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Frankels connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Kerr's hands.

Kerr lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Frankels circles away quickly and effectively.

Frankels cracks Kerr with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Frankels has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Kerr to stand back up!

and Frankels counters with a stiff right hand.

Frankels lands a big uppercut and Kerr crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Kerr looks OK. Frankels waves Kerr back to his feet!
Good leg kick by Frankels there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Kerr walks into a straight right, dropping him to the canvas! Frankels swarms him and finishes the fight with a hail of punches! What a brutal finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Rocket Bob Frankels!
A relieved looking Rocket Bob Frankels thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.

Main event

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Garegin Balayan (ranked 55 p4p, 7 weight class) and Pa‘Akea Built (ranked 139 p4p, 21 weight class). Balayan comes into the arena with Troika blaring out of the sound system. Built comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Hawaiian War Chant kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Pa‘Akea Built told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Balayan tests Built's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Built lands a nice shot to the body.
Balayan lands a nice leg kick that just misses Built's sensitive parts.
Built fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Built on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Built scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Balayan doesn't seem bothered though.
Built moves out of range of the strikes.

Built has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Balayan finds it's way round the side to connect with Built's head.
We've been informed that Built has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

Balayan lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
