Undercard bout

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anderson dodges the punch combination from Hughes.
Sirus Hughes seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hughes with a body punch. A glancing blow.

Hughes gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Hughes is leaning against Anderson and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.

Anderson lands a takedown into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hughes wants to stand up but Anderson is controlling him.
Anderson not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Anderson has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Hughes can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Anderson escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Hughes gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Hughes tries to stand but Anderson is controlling from the bottom.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Hughes has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Anderson is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Hughes yanks on the arm and Anderson is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Hughes.

Loco is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Wagner's shoulder. That is not cool.
Wagner is still in real trouble! Can Loco finish him?

Loco is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Wagner is trying to escape and Loco transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Wagner is forced to tap! Nice work there by Loco! Very nice indeed!

He tries to recover but Irrawaddy pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Lee is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

I think Killer might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Body to the Head!.
