Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bob Vendarra (ranked 1842 p4p, 245 weight class) and Maui Wowie (ranked 3283 p4p, 381 weight class). Vendarra kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Metallica - Of Wolf And Man. Wowie comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Dont bogart that joint kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wowie fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Vendarra has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Vendarra lands a nice shot that snaps Wowie's head back.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Vendarra lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Wowie has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Wowie and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Vendarra gets tackled into the cage by Wowie. Wowie maintains the clinch.

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Garegin Balayan (ranked 70 p4p, 8 weight class) and Ben Turner (ranked 112 p4p, 16 weight class). Balayan comes to the cage accompanied by Troika. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Ben Turner was going to win. Let's see if he was right.
