Scott throws a hook to the side of Leon's head but Leon sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Scott looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Scott is looking to chop away at Leon's legs.
Leon fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Scott manages to avoid it.
Scott dodges the punch combination from Leon.
Scott misses with a straight left.
Leon keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Scott.

Scott feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Scott here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kent pivots, looking for a leg kick but Zmuda is out of range and Kent settles back down.

and Zmuda holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Zmuda ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Zmuda no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Zmuda had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Kent defends it easily.
Kent is looking to stand up but Zmuda won't let him.
Kent knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Zmuda on the ground.

Kent lands a left and a right that send Zmuda crashing to the mat, dazed. Kent thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Kent circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Zmuda to the canvas! Zmuda doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Kent keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Clark Kent!
