Some wild striking there from Nobriega.
Dan slips a jab and a cross from Nobriega.
Nobriega rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Dan moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Dan wants to land a leg kick but Nobriega is out of range.
Nobriega throws a front kick that sends Dan stumbling back into the ropes.
Nobriega looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Dan seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Nobriega scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Dan slips a jab and a cross from Nobriega.
Dan tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Nobriega manages to circle out of the way.
Nobriega throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Dan .
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Dok goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Dok moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Dok fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Brit is out of range.
Brit feints and then cracks Dok's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Dok down.
Dok does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Brit looks like he wants to counter punch here.
No joy there for Dok, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Brit throws a push kick but Dok slaps the foot to one side.

Brit tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Dok avoids it.
Brit has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Dok breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Dok is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Brit.
Dok takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Dok is really struggling to find his range with his punches. Brit's reach advantage is clearly causing him problems.

Brit misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Brit lands with a cross.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Dok takes one to the chin there.
Dok doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Brit fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Dok has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Brit feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Dok's calf.

Brit scores a flash knockdown with a right hook that drops Dok to his hands and knees! The ref pushes Brit away as he looks to land an illegal blow. Dok got an extra few seconds to recover there, which could have made all the differences as he stumbles back to his feet. The referee looks into his eyes and decides to allow the bout to continue. Can he survive?!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baltazar sizes up Jones with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

It looks like John Jones has been cut.
Baltazar looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Jones buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Jones goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Baltazar is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Jones with a body shot.

Baltazar closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the ropes.
Jones pushes off an throws an elbow but Baltazar leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the ropes.
Jones takes an elbow to the forehead.
Baltazar pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the ropes.
Jones's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Jones misses with the head strike.
Jones misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Jones using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Baltazar has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Baltazar lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
Jones tries to break free but Baltazar pushes him back against the ropes.

Phew, his manager will be relieved but they're no doubt wondering whether he'll be able to recover properly and get back in the fight!

Jones glances at the clock... BAM! Baltazar nails him with a big right hand! A momentary lapse in concentration sends Jones crashing to the mat! The referee steps in and this one is over! Damn, Jones is out of it, he thinks the ref is his opponent!

Coming up we have a light heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Mang Kanor (ranked 5949 p4p, 590 weight class) and Yevgen Maartins (ranked 4891 p4p, 530 weight class). Kanor comes to the ring accompanied by Mang J̶o̶s̶e̶ Kanor by Parokya ni Edgarskie. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Maartins pivots, looking for a leg kick but Kanor is out of range and Maartins settles back down.
Kanor moves into range and connects with a jab.
A lazy left from Kanor finds it's target.
Maartins wants to clinch

and Kanor counters with a really nice, stiff jab that drops Maartins onto his ass. He'll have to take the mandatory count from the referee but he's back on his feet and he seems OK to continue.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Kanor weaves into range and cracks Maartins right on the temple with a beautiful overhand right! Maartins goes down! He's out cold! Wow, what a beautiful knockout! Kanor is strutting round the canvas like a movie star as the camera bulbs flash frantically.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Mang Kanor!
Mang Kanor retains his light heavyweight title!
After winning the bout, Mang Kanor thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
