Jacob throws a hook but Vluehorn blocks it.
And Vluehorn tries to counter it with a takedown but Jacob pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Vluehorn keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Vluehorn throws a sloppy head kick and Jacob moves out of range easily.

Jacob bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Jacob lands a nice looking kick to the body. Vluehorn takes a step back to recover.

It looked like Jacob was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Vluehorn.
Vluehorn moves in looking to clinch but Jacob pushes him off.

It looks like Kyle Vluehorn has been cut.

Vluehorn closes the distance and clinches.

Jacob lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Jacob dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Vluehorn. That did some damage!
Jacob throws an overhand right that lands on Vluehorn's shoulder, as Vluehorn tries to avoid the shot.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Abellan connects with the punch.
Abellan looks to land a right hand but Sujitsu moved out of range.

Sujitsu feints and as Abellan raises his hands in defense, Sujitsu changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Sujitsu slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Abellan has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Sujitsu tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Sujitsu has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Sujitsu moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Sujitsu wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Abellan, who protects the arm well.
Abellan knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Sujitsu on the ground.
Abellan isn't going anywhere.

Sujitsu is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Abellan is trying to escape and Sujitsu transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Abellan is forced to tap! Nice work there by Sujitsu! Very nice indeed!

Sotobe's coach down at Yaw-Yan Ardigma was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Sotobe's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Sotobe throws a powerful right kick. Buakaw tried to block low but the kick was high! Buakaw was taken right off of his feet! Sotobe jumps in to finish the job and the ref tackles him! The fight is over!

Our winner, Bkekimpilo Sotobe, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.

Wrestley throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Lee was covering up waiting for the punch and Wrestley finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Wrestley pushes down on Lee's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Lee holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now.
Lee is pressing down on Wrestley's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Lee is on top in guard.

Lee sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Wrestley's guard.

Espiga is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Espiga is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Gracie couldn't care less - he's delighted!

A very excited looking Eddie Guerrero made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.

Arteezy shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Gracie but Gracie pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Gracie has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Yaw-Yan Ardigma in the buildup to the fight.
Robin Gracie has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Shawn Arteezy.
A slow jab from Gracie misses its intended target.
Arteezy throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Gracie sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Arteezy has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Arteezy throws out a loose jab but Gracie uses good head movement to avoid it.
Arteezy throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
