The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Souza tries to clinch up but Jackson circles away and keeps his distance.

Jackson throws an overhand right that lands on Souza's shoulder, as Souza tries to avoid the shot.
Souza fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Souza shoots in but Jackson avoids the takedown attempt easily.

and Jackson counters with a nice uppercut.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Souza tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Jackson swivels and escapes.

Luke Jackson is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Souza throws a body shot but no joy.
Souza shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Jackson has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Souza closes the distance and clinches up with Jackson, looking for a takedown. Souza pushes Jackson against the cage but Jackson circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Jackson lands with a straight right. Souza didn't see that one coming.

The fight stays on the outside here - Souza looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Jackson lands a big uppercut and Souza crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Souza looks OK. Jackson waves Souza back to his feet!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Jackson finds Souza's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Souza flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Jackson lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Souza will be OK.

During a confident post fight interview, Luke Jackson thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Bob Snapp spoke after the fight, saying 'I will receive no damage to my body that will be long-lasting for a small, insignificant amount of cash. I'm getting paid well underneath what a professional boxer would. So in no means ever will I sustain long-lasting damage for a small paycheck. Never will that happen.'.
