The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nessy throws a one two combo.

Nessy closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Ribbit has a hand on Nessy's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Nessy takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!
Ribbit tries to reverse the position but Nessy maintains control.
Nessy misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Ribbit is trying desperately to improve position.
Ribbit wants to control but Nessy is having none of it.
Ribbit knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Nessy on the ground.
Ribbit really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Ribbit on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Ribbit tries to get out of the position.
Nessy lands a big shot there that rocks Ribbit but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Nessy jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Ribbit manages to avoid the submission attempt.

Nessy has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Ribbit is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Ribbit is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Nessy couldn't care less - he's delighted!
