The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Greguric throws a half hearted mid kick.
Greguric misses with a wild combination.
Verne Troyer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Troyer tries to close the distance and clinch but Greguric swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Troyer tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Greguric manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Greguric bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Troyer's head backwards.

Teixeira throws a leg kick but Rashad sees it coming and checks it nicely.

The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Rashad has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Rashad and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Carlos Teixeira seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rashad comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Teixeira tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Rashad defends well and Teixeira ends up having to push Rashad into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Rashad fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Teixeira manages to avoid it.
Teixeira shoots in looking for a takedown but Rashad manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Teixeira's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
BOOM! Rashad lands a beautiful left hook that drops Teixeira. Teixeira tries to recover but Rashad is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Teixeira lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!

Tyler gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Rishkinov to score an easy takedown into full guard.
