Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Padraig McNamara (ranked 3783 p4p, 423 weight class) and Paavel Wulf (ranked 4116 p4p, 449 weight class). McNamara comes to the cage accompanied by Kung liligaya ka sa piling ng iba. Paavel Wulf told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! Karlsson throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on Alzate's jaw, knocking him onto his back! Karlsson dives in looking to finish as Alzate flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Karlsson's strikes! Karlsson is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Alzate's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Alzate was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.

Pitung is looking to defend but Omarov has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Pitung! Omarov pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Pitung taps out and this one is all over!
