Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Henri Jospin (ranked 24148 p4p, 683 weight class) and Joey Bam Bam (ranked 3264 p4p, 412 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Jospin might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Clash. Bam Bam is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Sleep Now In The Fire. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

A decent looking cross lands there for Slayer.

We've been told by Happy's head coaches at Q Club that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Happy ducks under a wild hook from Slayer.
And Happy counters with a quick kick to the body but Slayer blocks it.

and Happy counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Happy steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Slayer.
Happy was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
The fighters circling - Slayer throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Happy jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit.

Happy gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Slayer closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Happy is staying active underneath Slayer, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

You checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
