The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dark gets tackled into the cage by King. King maintains the clinch.
Dark definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
King is looking for a takedown.
King misses with a hook from the clinch.
Dark blocking some punches.
Stalling in the clinch from King.
King tries to pull guard but Dark won't allow it.
King wants a takedown.
Michael Dark has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jack King.
King throws a punch but it's blocked by Dark.
King is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Dark is defending well.
King is working for takedown but Dark is calmly controlling the position for now.
King's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that King has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Dark really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Dark goes for a double leg but King avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as King continues to drive forward.

Dark takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
King wants to lay and pray for a moment but Dark keeps working.

King looks up at the clock and then as Dark takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, King smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Dark tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - King cranks the arm and Dark screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Dark, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

Nasty feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Smith postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Nasty on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Nasty doesn't seem to be complaining too much.

A relieved looking Hunter Smith thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.

The judges for this bout are Darius Henderson, Bruno Hogan and Winston Howard.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Romero fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Neves unleashes a big counter combination but Romero bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Neves ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

Romero shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Neves manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Romero is standing up over Neves. Neves looks to escape but Romero dives into side control.

Romero working the ground and pound but Neves is defending the strikes.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Romero wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Neves, who protects the arm well.

Romero is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Neves is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Romero looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Neves is avoiding damage well.
Romero postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Romero lands a decent elbow from side control.
Neves really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Romero. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Neves wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Romero passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Neves!
Neves really wants to buck Romero off and get back to his feet.
Romero throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.
Romero lands a heavy elbow.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Romero has hold of Neves's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Neves manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
You get the feeling that Neves really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Romero throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Neves because Romero loaded up on that one.
Romero lands a nice shot to the head.

This has been an exciting period of action!

Romero sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!

Romero fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Neves is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
Romero postures up and throws a massive shot that knocks Neves out cold! Two more strikes to his unconscious opponent for good luck and this one is all over! Romero goes absolutely crazy with his corner! Wow, you can see how much that win means to him!

Peralta comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Moke boy - Hawaiian kickboxer kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

The judges for this bout are Topper Green, Ron Honeybunn and Ben Watson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Peralta gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Point pushes Peralta back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Point prevents a takedown attempt there.
Peralta has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Point avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Point is working Peralta over against the cage.

A right hook to the body lands for Point.
Point is pressed up against the cage. Peralta has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Point down to the mat. Point avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Brayden Point has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Manu Peralta.
Peralta looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Point tries to counter by clinching up but Peralta breaks away and moves out of range.
Peralta shoots in and drives through. Point sprawls well.
Point steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Peralta.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Peralta throws an off balance right hand
and Point counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Peralta looks winded!
Peralta throws a sloppy body shot
and Point counters with a nice uppercut.

Point feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Peralta sprawling to the canvas! Peralta rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Point finish him?!

Peralta is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Peralta leaves his chin hanging out and Point seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Peralta crumbles to the floor in a heap, and the referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Brayden Point!
Brayden Point retains his featherweight title!
A relieved looking Brayden Point thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.

Sonnen stuffs the takedown.
A little feinted left hand from Sonnen on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.

Wright shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Wright was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Wright grinds an elbow into Sonnen's temple.
Wright throwing strikes but Sonnen manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sonnen working away.
Wright gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Wright tries to get to full guard but Sonnen has control of the leg.
Wright is looking to get back to full guard here but Sonnen has managed to pass to side control instead.
Wright on the wrong end of some ground and pound.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Sonnen throws an elbow but Wright slips to the side and avoids it well.

Sloppy strikes there by Sonnen.
Wright is trying to escape the position but Sonnen is controlling the position.
Sonnen lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.

Wright looking for a sweep but Sonnen has passed into full mount! Oh no!
Wright really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Sonnen. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Sonnen is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Wright can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Sonnen lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Wright tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Sonnen looking to ground and pound but Wright is blocking nicely.
Sonnen cracks Wright with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
