After the fight, Hocka Loogie was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.

Undercard bout

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Donny Jones (ranked 2862 p4p, 396 weight class) and Jimmy Henderson (ranked 2919 p4p, 402 weight class). Donny Jones had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 206.6lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. This should be a great matchup!

A little feinted left hand from Kong on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.

and Kong counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Rizzuto. Kong shrugs it off though.
Kong displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Rizzuto throws out the jab.

Rizzuto shoots in for a takedown but Kong shows good takedown defense.

Krom Kong has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alessandro Rizzuto.

Rizzuto has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Rizzuto lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Rizzuto.

Kong is rocked!
Rizzuto grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Kong takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! Rizzuto cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Blitz finds himself stumbling back on wobbly legs after being clipped by a right hand. He's up against the cage, ducking and weaving under Teodor's strikes but an uppercut finds it's way through and Blitz falls! - He's completely out of it and the ref jumps in to save him!
