Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bakaj moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Dsgn shoots in and bounces Bakaj off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Bakaj wants to stand and escape but Dsgn is having none of it.
Bakaj working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Dsgn.
Bakaj wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Dsgn is now in half guard.
Dsgn wants to free his trapped foot but Bakaj is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Dsgn trying to control the action but Bakaj is working from the bottom.
Dsgn looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Bakaj with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dsgn wants to lay and pray for a moment but Bakaj keeps working.
Bakaj wants to get back to his feet.

Bakaj moves into full guard.
Dsgn stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bakaj swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Bakaj is trying to keep Dsgn in close.

Dsgn has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Bakaj is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Dsgn trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Bakaj is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Bakaj is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Dsgn trying to control from the bottom.
Bakaj wants to stand up but Dsgn has a hold of him and won't allow it.

The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Bakaj tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Dsgn.

Dsgn wants to improve his position but Bakaj is controlling well.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Dsgn shoots and misses
and Bakaj counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Dsgn thinking.
Dsgn is breathing heavily.

Bakaj throws a series of strikes that have Dsgn backpedaling.
It looks like Deceneu Dsgn has been cut.
Bakaj lands a glancing blow to the side of Dsgn's head.

Bakaj punishes Dsgn's body with a nice straight punch.
Bakaj dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Dsgn. That did some damage!
Bakaj cracks Dsgn with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Dsgn is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Dsgn ducks into an uppercut from Bakaj and that's knocked him out cold! This one is all over!
