The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Holey fails with the takedown

and Vidal moves into the clinch.
Vidal makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.

Vidal has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Holey is trying to keep an underhook but Vidal manages to get the takedown into half guard.

Vidal stands up and beckons Holey to join him on the feet.
Vidal scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Vidal stuffs the takedown.
Vidal lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Holey at a distance.

Holey closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Vidal did well to prevent Holey getting side control.

Vidal pushes Holey off and gets back to his feet.

Vidal moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

It looks like Nick Holey has been cut.
Vidal lunges at Holey with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Holey's hand.

Holey looking to sit in guard and control but Vidal gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Holey could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Vidal lying in Holey's guard like a wet fish here, stalling away. Holey decides he's had enough of all that nonsense - he escapes his hips and locks up an armbar! Wow, that was slick! Vidal taps! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!

A jab and a right hook connect and Segawa buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves Segawa!! Segawa is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. Disi throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.

After winning the bout, Emilio Disi thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.

Hop lands a big uppercut and Ulvesson crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Ulvesson looks OK. Hop waves Ulvesson back to his feet!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Ulvesson steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Hop. That one must have hurt.
Hop misses with a left hand
and Ulvesson counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Hop thinking.
Ulvesson gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Hop gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Ulvesson is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lorenzon misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from De Barros.

Lorenzon swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
De Barros tries to clinch but Lorenzon is having none of it.
Lorenzon let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
De Barros shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
De Barros shoots for a double leg takedown but Lorenzon sprawls well. He's pushed De Barros's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
