The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Welling scores with a hook to the body. Solonik takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

Welling sends Solonik crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Welling is motioning to the referee to let Solonik up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

It looks like Gus Solonik has been cut.

Solonik takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Welling misses with an uppercut.

Solonik cracks Welling with a right hand to the side of the head.

Ryan Welling seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Welling throws a shot from downtown. Solonik moves away and avoids it.
The fight stays on the outside here - Solonik looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Welling works Solonik's body with a nice hook.

Welling cracks Solonik with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Welling has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Solonik to stand back up!

Welling has Solonik pressed against the cage, preventing Solonik from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Welling lands with a right to the head.

Solonik is rocked!
Welling tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Oh Solonik is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Welling lands a shot to the body.

Solonik seems to have got his legs back now.
Welling creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Solonik with a big uppercut! Solonik tries to clinch up but Welling pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Solonik to the mat! Solonik covers up and Welling unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

Ball moves in looking to clinch but Lizard pushes him off.

Ball feints and as Lizard raises his hands in defense, Ball changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Lizard throws his legs up looking for a submission but Ball uses it to pass to side control.
Lizard is trying to control Ball's posture but Ball avoids it.
Lizard is trying to improve his position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lizard is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Ball off and has taken his back!
Lizard has Ball flattened out and is raining down punches.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Lizard in particular looking to stall.

You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.

Cavill got a little sloppy there for a moment and Mancini has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Cavill has managed to get both his arms back between Mancini's legs - danger averted.

Cavill has instead reached around Mancini's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Cavill arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.

McDonald takes the fight into the clinch.
McDonald gets through Power's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

It looks like Derek Power has been cut.
A quick uppercut on the inside from McDonald.
McDonald lands with a short head shot on the inside.
A right hook to the body lands for McDonald.
Power misses with a punch on the inside.
McDonald lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Power could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Power swings wildly with an uppercut but McDonald uses good head movement to avoid it.
Power goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Power tries to work over McDonald's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
McDonald lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Still in the clinch, Power scores with a nice short uppercut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Power tries to throw a body punch but McDonald avoids it by throwing Power back against the cage.
A nice right hand lands inside from McDonald.
McDonald scores with a shot to the side of Power's head.

McDonald lands a shoulder strike.

McDonald works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
McDonald pushes Power back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.

Derek Power's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
McDonald has Power pressed against the cage. Power drops his hands and McDonald takes advantage by unloading with a massive hook that sends Power tumbling to the canvas! McDonald rains down with more punches but Power was already out! That's a highlight reel knockout for McDonald!
