The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Pavon gets tackled into the cage by Guillard. Guillard maintains the clinch.

Guillard has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Pavon avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Guillard tries to pull guard but Pavon won't allow it.

Guillard has been working on his balance at Official UFC Performance Institute Training Center, so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by Pavon.
Pavon creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Guillard with a big uppercut! Guillard tries to clinch up but Pavon pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Guillard to the mat! Guillard covers up and Pavon unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

Undercard bout

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Andrew Brekker (ranked 22740 p4p, 646 weight class) and Nick Dick (ranked 5177 p4p, 461 weight class). Andrew Brekker had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 171.2lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. This should be fireworks!

Dick keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Brekker's head.

Dick is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Brekker is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Brekker flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Dick anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Brekker and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Dick slips an arm under Brekker chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Dick has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Dick is squeezing on Brekker like an anaconda would it's prey. Brekker fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!

Nick Dick tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
