The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Daniel Franklin and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Angel tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Angel lands with a shot to the body.
Angel clinches with his opponent.
Angel jumps guard and drags Barber to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Angel wants to sweep but no luck.
Angel trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage.
Angel looking to hit a scissor sweep but Barber is one step ahead there.
Barber gets to his feet. Angel looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Angel throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Barber.
White Angel seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Barber moves into the clinch successfully.
Barber tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Barber is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Angel is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Angel has escaped and now he's on top!

The fighters are working up against the cage. Barber manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.

Barber really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Barber escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Angel gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Angel stands up from Barber's guard - Angel perhaps looking for a knockout.
Barber swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Angel throws a right and a left that Barber avoids nicely.
Barber chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Angel can pounce on him.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Angel moves into range and connects with a jab.

Barber feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Angel has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Barber clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Angel wants to clinch but Barber slips to the side
and Barber counters with a shoot takedown. Angel fights it but they end up in guard.
Angel is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Barber dives into side control.

Barber feints a jab promting Angel to slip. Barber then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Angel slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Barber shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Angel eats them both and turns towards Barber to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Angel goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Barber drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Barber tries for a kimura but Angel is defending well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Barber decides to stand back up. Barber steps back and let's Angel get back to his feet.
Barber closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Barber lands in his opponent's guard.

Barber stands up and waves to Angel to follow him.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. And we move into the final round!

Angel works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.

Barber will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Angel takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Barber is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Angel has managed to free his arm - good work.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Barber looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Barber is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

White Angel has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Brent Barber is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Barber in particular looking to stall.
