Erikson stuffs the takedown attempt from Hale. Hale gets slowly back to his feet.
Hale tries for a takedown but Erikson circles away easily
and Erikson counters with a straight right hand.
Hale swings and misses with a hook to the body.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Erikson enables Hale to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Erikson manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hale is looking to pass into half guard but Erikson pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Erikson is in guard.
Hale wants to stand up but Erikson is controlling him.

Hale scrambles and gets back to his feet.

Kulina has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
McDuffy looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

McDuffy is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
