The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A right-left combo lands from Poki.
Scout moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Scout closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Poki will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Scout fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Poki sprawls well initially but Scout persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Poki is trying to control but can't.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Poki wants to improve his position but Scout is controlling well.

Scout is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Waldrop lands a jab to the head.
Waldrop paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Waldrop enables Banner to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Waldrop manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Escobar complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

A very excited looking Axel Foley rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.

Fury closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Kalani did well to prevent Fury getting side control.

Kalani tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Fury cranks the arm and Kalani screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Kalani, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

A less than humble Drake Fury misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
