Clark has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Clark lands with a hook. Armani tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

Armani on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Clark's corner calls for a 1-2. Clark obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Manu misses with a lunging right hand
letting DeCastro counter with a right hand.
Manu throws a lazy uppercut
and DeCastro cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Manu tries to close the distance and clinch up but DeCastro swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Manu walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
DeCastro dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
DeCastro throws out a loose jab but Manu uses good head movement to avoid it.

Manu instigates a clinch.
DeCastro tries to break the clinch but Manu is controlling the position.
A frustrated look appears on DeCastro's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Manu drops down looking for an ankle pick but DeCastro pulls his leg out and moves away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
Manu connects with a series of strikes and the referee is calling for DeCastro to escape the position.
Will Manu go for the finish here or will he try and keep control of the position?
Manu has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
DeCastro covers up after taking a massive shot to the side of the head.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Manu is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Manu gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Manu gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Manu apologises and we restart here on the feet.

Manu looks for a takedown but DeCastro sprawls well.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
