and Know counters with a shoot takedown. Malofeev fights it but they end up in guard.

Know is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Know postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.

Know thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Know in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Malofeev keeping moving, preventing Know from controlling successfully.
Know pushes down on Malofeev's leg and manages to get into half guard.

Know trying to control the action but Malofeev is working from the bottom.

Know is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Know is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Know is figuring out what he wants to do next.

Know is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Malofeev defends it well.

Malofeev is positioning himself well to prevent Know advancing to mount.
Know is nestled in close to Malofeev, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Know takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

Know seems to be looking for submissions.

Know is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Malofeev sees it coming and defends easily.
Know wants to control but Malofeev is keeping him busy.

Know is looking to advance position but Malofeev won't allow it.
Malofeev is looking to get back to full guard here but Know has managed to pass to side control instead.

Know looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Malofeev is trying to control Know's posture but Know avoids it.
A lull in the action here as Know stalls from top position.
Know lands a few punches from side control.

Malofeev tries to improve position but can't.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Know landing with strikes to the head and body from side control.
Malofeev gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!
Malofeev is squirming around, avoiding Know's attempts to control the action.
Malofeev really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Know. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Know is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Malofeev can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Know lands a couple of good shots and Malofeev has given up his back, trying to escape the position!
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Know is working for a rear naked choke. Malofeev is not defending it well and Know has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Malofeev refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Malofeev's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Idont Know!
An out of breath Idont Know thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
The defeated Nikolay Malofeev had this to say: 'Why the referee stopped the fight?? WTF? Why? God damn!! It's fuckin unbelievable!! The referee is a incompetent. Doesn't matter I'm still the best. Fuck you all.!!'.

A swing and a miss from Kluger.
Bobkins is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
Kluger goes for a double leg but Bobkins avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Bobkins continues to drive forward.
Kluger takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Kluger is breathing heavily.
Kluger moves in looking to clinch but Bobkins pushes him off.

Bobkins drops Kluger with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Kluger looks back up at him and smiles so Bobkins waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

It looks like Trent Kluger has been cut.
Bobkins has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Bobkins cracks Kluger with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Kluger looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Bobkins finish him?

Kluger is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Bobkins batters Kluger with a massive right followed by a huge left! Kluger is out on his feet looking like a zombie as Bobkins lands a final crushing right hand to drop Kluger to the mat with a gruesome thud! Bobkins is running around like a mad man after that fight and for good reason!

Klaw keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Klaw throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on Williams's jaw, knocking him onto his back! Klaw dives in looking to finish as Williams flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Klaw's strikes! Klaw is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Williams's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Williams was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.

A relieved looking Ulysses Klaw thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.

Yelats misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Sloppy strikes from Dryll. Those never looked like landing.
Dryll bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Yelats's head backwards.

Yelats will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

It seemed like Dryll was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Dryll throws a right and a left that both miss.
Yelats tries to close the distance and clinch but Dryll swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Dryll lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Yelats takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
A left and a right from Dryll both land. Nice combination.
Yelats shoots in looking for a takedown. Dryll tries to sprawl out of it but Yelats keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Dryll manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Vasconcelos looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Black has hold of Vasconcelos's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Vasconcelos seems comfortable defending it but Black has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Vasconcelos is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Vasconcelos is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Black couldn't care less - he's delighted!

Kollin Black spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
