The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Berisha throws a right hand that Willemson ducks under and follows up with a left that Willemson also avoids with ease.
Berisha tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Willemson swivels and escapes.
Willemson throws a head kick that misses.
A countering left hand to the body from Berisha misses.
Berisha shoots in looking for a takedown but Willemson manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Berisha's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Cruz throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Ajax's waist but Ajax gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Cruz off to one side.
Cruz tries for a takedown but Ajax sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Ajax drops Cruz with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Cruz looks back up at him and smiles so Ajax waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
It looks like Nilton Cruz has been cut.
Ajax just misses with a punch to the body.
As Ajax tries to get set, Cruz tries to push him back and clinch up but Ajax manages to avoid the attempt.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
