Thorne has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Wagenknecht is really squeezing tight and eventually Thorne passes out! Wagenknecht breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

Golovkin feints a jab promting Lao to slip. Golovkin then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Lao slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

It looks like Karnak Lao has been cut.
Gennady Golovkin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Golovkin lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Kubota throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Estionilita was covering up waiting for the punch and Kubota finishes the takedown easily into guard.
