Wannabe throws a right and a left that both miss.
Wannabe is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Peterson.
Wannabe fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Peterson manages to avoid it.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Wannabe throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Peterson connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Wannabe throws a leg kick which misses Peterson's front leg but catches the back leg as Peterson tries to avoid it.

No joy there for Peterson, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Wannabe could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Peterson lands a left and a right that send Wannabe crashing to the mat, dazed. Peterson thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Wannabe moves in looking to clinch but Peterson pushes him off.

Peterson cracks Wannabe with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Wannabe tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Peterson pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Wannabe is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Winkle is still on wobbly legs! Can Jackson finish him?
This has been an exciting period of action!
Winkle walks straight into a right hand from Jackson - that's dropped him! Jackson jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Winkle from any more punishment! Winkle complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

Souza looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Souza has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
