Como throws the kick towards the body but Silva avoids it.

Bill Como seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Como has been working on his boxing with his coaches at All Star Performance Institute in the buildup to the fight.
Como thuds a left hand into Silva's body.

Como drops Silva with a beautiful combination! Silva stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Como is looking for the KO!

It looks like Pablo Jr Silva has been cut.
Silva walks right into a perfectly timed right hook and goes down hard! He's out cold! The ref cradles Silva limp body while Como jumps on to the cage and waves to the roaring crowd. Wow that was just a brutal knockout!

It looked like Carruthers wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Carruthers throws out a leg kick but Ward moves out of range and Carruthers only half commits.

Ward uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Carruthers.
Ward pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Carruthers back to the cage. Ward follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Carruthers wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Carruthers got a little sloppy there for a moment and Ward has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Carruthers has managed to get both his arms back between Ward's legs - danger averted.

Carruthers is looking to defend but Ward has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Carruthers! Ward pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Carruthers taps out and this one is all over!
