The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moondog walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Shy checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Moondog doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Shy displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Moondog.

Shy shoots for a double leg takedown but Moondog sprawls well. He's pushed Shy's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Hellman shoots in looking for a takedown but Deek manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Hellman's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Deek stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Deek wants it to stay on the feet.
Deek throws a sloppy head kick and Hellman moves out of range easily.
Deek tries to score a power double leg takedown but Hellman sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Deek somewhat.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Hellman accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Hellman is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Deek is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Deek has escaped and now he's on top!

Hellman can't keep his opponent in guard - Deek advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Deek is nestled in close to Hellman, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
It looks like Deek is going to stand back up.

Hellman won't allow Deek to pass to mount.

Deek escapes and gets back to his feet.
Damian Hellman is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
The fight stays on the outside here - Deek looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Deek shoots in looking for a takedown. Hellman tries to sprawl out of it but Deek keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Hellman manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Huan Deek has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Hellman will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
