Rutherford kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Genesis - Deep in the Motherlode. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bastard misses with an uppercut.
Rutherford feinted with a counter takedown.
Bastard fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Bastard cracks Rutherford with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
The fighters circle momentarily. Bastard darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Rutherford is rocked!
Bastard lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Rutherford is looking to close the distance but Bastard sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Rutherford crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Rutherford is OK because that was naaaaaasty!

Embalmer changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Burger looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Embalmer looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Embalmer is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Burger will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
Burger is trying to control Embalmer's posture but Embalmer avoids it.
Burger is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.
Burger is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Embalmer's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.

Burger stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Burger wants it to stay on the feet.

Burger fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Embalmer sprawls well initially but Burger persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Burger is trying to control the action in half guard but Embalmer is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

A close round but Egyptian Embalmer will probably get the nod.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Embalmer feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Embalmer is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Burger has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Embalmer is looking to defend but Burger has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Embalmer! Burger pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Embalmer taps out and this one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:25 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Brazilian Burger!
Brazilian Burger seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
Egyptian Embalmer spoke after the fight, saying 'This fucking blind referee is friends with the fucking biased judges who are both paid by my PED-using opponent's manager. Fuck them and fuck the haters! What are you looking at asshole? Come at me, I'll mash you like potatoes!! Mommy!! They are threatening me! 😭'.

Leonard uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Chan.
Chan misses the jab.
Chan throws a shot from downtown. Leonard moves away and avoids it.
Chan lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Chan tests Leonard's chin there with a solid looking shot.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Leonard.
Chan slaps away a takedown attempt from Leonard, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Nice body punch from Chan.
Leonard fails with the takedown.
Lirik Chan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Murphy Leonard.

Leonard bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Chan is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

Leonard has hold of Chan's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Chan tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Leonard cranks the arm and Chan screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Chan, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
