Yodmuay Petpanpamnuang spoke after the fight, saying 'I was poisoned pre fight by a crooked promoter. The Island is ruined. I'm wearing old dirty clothes and the water is tainted... I didn't have time to warm up... My punches slipped in his facial hair... This is bullshit!'.

Island shoots for a takedown but McHough saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
McHough misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Island closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. McHough did well to prevent Island getting side control.

Island seems to be looking for submissions.

Island wants to work for an arm triangle but McHough is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
McHough wants to get back to full guard.
McHough knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Island on the ground.

Island is trying to work for a kimura but McHough is defending well.

Island has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can McHough defend it? Island steps over the head and cranks it - McHough is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Island!
