Brumdisha is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Golzar screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pikkarainen tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kolari swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Kolari misses with a low kick as Pikkarainen jumps back.
No joy there for Pikkarainen, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Kolari throws a right and a left that Pikkarainen avoids nicely.

Pikkarainen fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Kolari sprawls well initially but Pikkarainen persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
The fighters are battling for position here. Kolari manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

Fedja feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
