Kurtz feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Smith sprawling to the canvas! Smith rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Kurtz finish him?!

It looks like Jack Smith has been cut.

Kurtz fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Smith to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Smith looks to clinch but Kurtz throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Smith taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!

McAdams throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Richards was covering up waiting for the punch and McAdams finishes the takedown easily into guard.
McAdams looking to sit in guard and control but Richards gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.


McAdams looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Richards has picked McAdams up and slammed him! McAdams can't keep hold of the triangle and Richards manages to pass to side control!
You can see the frustration on McAdams's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

In his post fight interview, Alfredo Negreiros started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
