The President wants to control from the top but Alvez keeps moving.

The President is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

It looks like Alvez might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
I really don't envy The President right now.

Escobar paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

McCormick takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Oh McCormick is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
McCormick shoots for a double leg takedown but Escobar sprawls well. He's pushed McCormick's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Escobar fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. McCormick looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
McCormick seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
McCormick really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Escobar stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Escobar wants it to stay on the feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Howard McCormick. That's going to take a lot out of him.
McCormick walks straight into a right hand from Escobar - that's dropped him! Escobar jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save McCormick from any more punishment! McCormick complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

Kwiwan Fogomayu comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Fogomayu has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
