The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Poller darts in looking for a takedown but McCombie gets double underhooks and turns Poller into the cage.
Poller tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
McCombie throws a nice looking combination but Poller bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
McCombie throws a sloppy head kick

and Poller counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Poller distracts McCombie with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
McCombie wants to stand but Poller is controlling the position.
Poller really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Poller is pushing down on McCombie's leg trying to pass to half guard. McCombie is fighting to maintain full guard but Poller has managed to sneak the leg through.

McCombie manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Poller manages to get himself to full guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

He's locked it up tight! McCombie's face has turned purple! Will he tap? Will he! YES! He's tapped! Poller picked his opening and made it count! Great finish!
