The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Pocc fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Yocum to the ground. Pocc is now in Yocum's guard.
Pocc makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Pocc postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Boyfriend crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from John - the referee stops the clock and Boyfriend gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says John. Boyfriend manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
John fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Boyfriend lands a jab to the head.

It looks like Scott John has been cut.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Boyfriend checks a leg kick.

John throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Boyfriend stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Boyfriend has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Bonsai Club MMA in the buildup to the fight.

Boyfriend takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Boyfriend falls off balance throwing a combination
and John counters with a huge left! Boyfriend is in big trouble! He's backing up but John isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Boyfriend from any more damage. A dominating finish by John!

A less than humble Scott John misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
