Miller shoots and misses

Yurich lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Yurich lands with a hook. Miller tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Yurich stuns Miller with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Yurich throws a hook but Miller avoids it easily.
Yurich falls off balance throwing a combination
and Miller counters with a two punch combo.
Miller darts in looking for a takedown but Yurich gets double underhooks and turns Miller into the cage.

We've been told by Yurich's head coaches at Fight Factory that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Miller tries to score a power double leg takedown but Yurich sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Miller somewhat.

Yurich thuds his right hand into Miller's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Yurich uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Miller.
Miller misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Yurich closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Miller! Yurich dives in looking to finish! Miller is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!

Barthel scores with a crisp jab that stopped Rome in his tracks.
Barthel connects with a good right hand that stumbles Rome. Rome circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Barthel throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Rome on the side of the head.
Barthel sizes up Rome with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Barthel is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Barthel cracks Rome with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Rome tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Barthel pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Rome is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
