Pedro lands a right hook to the body.

The Slicer drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Pedro tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but The Slicer wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The Slicer postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Pedro can't do much from the bottom here.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Phichai feints and then cracks Martini's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Martini down.
Phichai tries to close the distance and clinch up but Martini swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Martini shoots in and bounces Phichai off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Big rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Bob moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Big is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Big stalks Bob and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Bob's face. Bob staggers backwards, shaken.
Big lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Bob can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Big and Bob drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Big.
