The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jacobi looks for a takedown but Duncan sprawls well.

Duncan got a little sloppy there for a moment and Jacobi has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Duncan has managed to get both his arms back between Jacobi's legs - danger averted.

Power lands a nice forearm strike.
Power in side control, just content to control the action for now.
Power has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Power has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Mitchell is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Power yanks on the arm and Mitchell is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Power.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Goat crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Mfer - the referee stops the clock and Goat gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Mfer. Goat manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
