Carter throws the left hand but Slater avoids the punch easily.
Carter takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Slater stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Collin Carter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Carter throws a right hand that misses
and Slater counters with a stiff right hand.
Slater connects with a crisp jab.
Carter throws a poor cross that misses
and Slater counters with a huge left! Carter is in big trouble! He's backing up but Slater isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Carter from any more damage. A dominating finish by Slater!

Smith wants to counter with a clinch but Rogers pushes him away.

My spies in FIERCE inform me that Smith has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Malaki Lima (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Squanchy Squanch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lima kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Tupac - Hail Mary. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Lee throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Sunderland's waist but Sunderland gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Lee off to one side.

Lee closes the distance and clinches up with Sunderland, looking for a takedown. Lee pushes Sunderland against the cage but Sunderland circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
