Crunch! Jones slams his shin into Oreck's torso.

Smith changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Makiavala tries to avoid it but Smith manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Makiavala to the ground. Makiavala escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dilan Seddigh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kevin Matthews (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Seddigh might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Tech Nine - Absolute Power. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A looping hook to the body misses from Seddigh. Matthews does a little dance to reset his feet.
Matthews throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Matthews will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Seddigh accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Matthews can do anything to dispel that myth.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Seddigh loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Seddigh throws and elbow that misses. Matthews uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Seddigh's guard. Nice move by Matthews!

Matthews stands over his opponent and dives in with a flying punch! Seddigh throws up his legs and catches Matthews in a triangle! Oh this looks tight! Matthews tries to escape but he's forced to tap! Wow, fantastic work there by Seddigh! That came out of nowhere!
