The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Leonardo misses with a takedown attempt - Mikeli sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Mikeli keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Hunt takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Pera throws a series of punches but Hunt avoids them all with ease.
Hunt throws a body punch but Pera moves out of range.
Hunt lands a head shot.
Pera fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Hunt has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Hunt lands a leg kick that knocks Pera off balance momentarily.
Pera misses with a hook to the body

and Pera takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Hunt has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Pera is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Hunt.
Pera lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Hunt down.
Hunt is in a tricky position but he's been working on his transitions down at Helsinki Private Gym, so we'll see if he gets out of it.

Peon misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Von Peon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ronaldo dives in for a single leg takedown but Peon sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Peon dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
A shot to the liver by Peon. Beautiful body shot.
Ronaldo takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Ronaldo looks winded!

Peon feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Ronaldo sprawling to the canvas! Ronaldo rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Peon finish him?!

It looks like Pele Ronaldo has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Ronaldo walks straight into a right hand from Peon - that's dropped him! Peon jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Ronaldo from any more punishment! Ronaldo complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

I think Stark might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Gardenia by Kyuss. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?
