The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Drwal with that takedown attempt.
Drwal slips a jab and a cross from Farias.
Farias keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Farias throws a wild body kick that Drwal sees coming a mile off.

Tomasz Drwal seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Drwal is defended easily by Farias.

Rautavaara shoots in looking for a takedown. Selassie tries to sprawl out of it but Rautavaara keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Selassie manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Rautavaara will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dhaliwal swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Rua feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chris Evans (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gegard Mousasi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Evans might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to I need Scissors!. Mousasi is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Pweization. Gegard Mousasi told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!
