The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hjul closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Barant lands a nice leg kick that just misses Killa's sensitive parts.

Barant pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Killa back to the cage. Barant follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

Killa fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Barant avoids it really well and circles away.
Oh Killa is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Barant fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Killa has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Killa fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Barant sprawls well initially but Killa persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

That was a close second round but I would say that Dreia Killa will probably get the nod.
