Gonon changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Jenkins tries to avoid it but Gonon manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jenkins to the ground. Jenkins escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Gonon takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

It looks like Terry Gonon has been cut.

and Jenkins counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Gonon! He's just covering up as Jenkins starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Salieri moves away from the strike by Ball.
A looping hook to the body misses from Ball. Salieri does a little dance to reset his feet.
Ball throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Ball lands with a cross.
Salieri takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Ball connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Salieri closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Ball definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Ball uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

Ball lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.

Ball is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.

Salieri bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Salieri attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Salieri takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Ball lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Ball connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Salieri momentarily.

Salieri is still on wobbly legs! Can Ball finish him?
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Salieri walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Ball checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Salieri seems to have recovered his senses.

Ball lands a big right hand that sends Salieri crashing to the mat! Ball stays standing though and waves Salieri back to his feet!
Ball throws an overhand right that drops Salieri like a sack of potatoes! Ball dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:12 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Left Ball!
